Bernanke Ties Dollar's Fate To Econ Prospects

Forex News: Fed's Bernanke says foreign exchange market interventions are "something that should be done only rarely," when markets are disorderly. He also says "the dollar in the long term depends on the fundamentals (of the economy), and it's up us to get the fundamentals right." Bernanke also says "our principle policy toward the dollar is to have a strong economy" and getting that right will support the currency over the long term.
